Week 1: Monday 30th March – Thursday 2nd April 2026 - 10.00am–2.00pm daily
This two‑part programme accelerates progress for pupils already familiar with the basics of 7+ preparation. Yes, the course is designed to build across two weeks, but each week also stands strongly on its own. Book either week for excellent curriculum confidence – or both weeks for a powerful progression.
Who It’s For
7+ Group: Current Year 1 pupils
A small group runs throughout each week, taught by experienced teachers with deep insight into selective school expectations. Pupils rotate between two teachers daily for balance, variety, and broader expertise.
Programme Structure
Week 1: Deep Foundations - Phase 1
Strengthening English fundamentals
Building fluency and reasoning in Maths
Structured verbal and non-verbal reasoning tasks
What the Course Includes
English: Advanced composition, comprehension, grammar, dictation
Mathematics: Mental maths, formal methods, problem-solving under time pressure
Reasoning: VR and NV techniques with increasing complexity
Exam technique and confidence strategies
A teaching assistant supports both groups, ensuring individual attention and a caring environment.
Environment & Class Size
Small class sizes for tailored feedback. Chelsea Academy offers bright classrooms, outdoor space, and an ideal setting for focused, enjoyable learning.
