Week 2: Monday 13 April – Friday 17 April 2026
£1,250 per week
This two-part programme accelerates progress for pupils already familiar with the basics of 7+ and 8+ preparation. Building on Phase 1 foundations, the course sharpens skills, introduces advanced strategies, and develops exam confidence. It is recommended that you book both phase 1 and phase 2.
Who It’s For
7+ Group: Current Year 1 pupils
8+ Group: Current Year 2 pupils
Two parallel groups run throughout each week, taught by experienced teachers with deep insight into selective school expectations. Pupils rotate teachers daily for balance, variety, and broader expertise.
Programme Structure
Week 2: Exam Strategy & Application
Integration of past papers
Timed exercises and stamina-building
Strategic written responses
Interview Preparation: Gentle coaching with Lucy Watts, introducing early techniques for 7+ callbacks and 8+ awareness
What the Course Includes
English: Advanced composition, comprehension, grammar, dictation
Mathematics: Mental maths, formal methods, problem-solving under time pressure
Reasoning: VR and NV techniques with increasing complexity
Exam technique and confidence strategies
A teaching assistant supports both groups, ensuring individual attention and a caring environment.
Environment & Class Size
